I wanted to hack the Play-Doh Fun Factory extruder because it is ubiquitous. I created a 3D model of the standard die-plate so I could use my 3D printer to make any off-the-shelf Play-Doh extruder do my bidding.
Second amendment issues are a hot topic these days. We all know kids love guns — think GTA or Call of Duty. And sure there are plans for 3D printable guns available online, but not everyone has access to a 3D printer. But now with the Gun Factory, you can begin producing guns at home for only the cost of some Play-Doh.
How to get your own Gun Factory:
1. Download the ZIP file.
2. Print up the sticker using a 2D printer
3. Print up the die-plate using a 3D printer.
4. Attach the sticker and die-plate to your Play-Doh Fun Factory extruder.
5. Start making guns!
